July is month of festivals, fun and (hopefully) sun. Just in case it rains, you can keep the young people in your life occupied by taking a look at our selection of children's books, including some activity books. Or treat yourself to a good read while relaxing in the sun.

Blaisdon Reunion

Today, 28 August 2005, we held a magnificent and appropriate 70th Anniversary reunion at St Peter's Church and Church Hall, in Gloucester. At the Mass a most moving homily was preached by Father John Gilheney SDB, one time Head of

the Blaisdon school.

Thanks to the super human efforts of Charles Springett, Blaisdon President, a very large number sat down to a wonderful meal. This group included many Past Pupils, including Alastair Bourne all the way from New Zealand, Blaisdon

Salesians, Blaisdon Care Staff, Enfield Old Boys and former Crusade of Rescue ladies from the Feltham Home, and we were privileged to have Jim Richards, Director of the Catholic Children's Society (Westminster) and his wife and another

Lady to represent what was previously "The Crusade of Rescue" and many wives and children of Blaisdon Past Pupils.

Our heartfelt thanks to the St Peter's family for giving us such a great welcome and use of their beautiful church and other amenities.
