July is month of festivals, fun and (hopefully) sun. Just in case it rains, you can keep the young people in your life occupied by taking a look at our selection of children's books, including some activity books. Or treat yourself to a good read while relaxing in the sun.

Peter Tohill - Memorial Service

On Thursday 19th February, at St Matthews Church, High Street, Yiewsley (Near Uxbridge), there was a Memorial Service for Pete Tohill, a Shrigley past pupil, who died on 29th January aged 44.
John Ward writes:

"I have just attended a lovely Memorial Service for the late Peter John Tohill (RIP) (AKA PJ) at which a fellow Salesian, Mike Cox, gave an informative and amusing talk on the 'Shrigley years', as part of the presentation of the short, but full, life circle of PJ."
