Memorial of Blessed Ceferino Namuncura

Blessed Ceferino, known as the Prince of the Pampas, was born in Chimpay, Argentina, on 26 August 1886, and died in Rome in 1905, from tuberculosis, shortly after beginning his training as a Salesian priest.
His beatification took place in Chimpay, in 2007.
