About

We are the British Province of the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB), an order of Catholic priests and brothers. We were founded in Italy in the nineteenth century by Saint John Bosco, (known by the courtesy title of 'Don' Bosco), to serve the young, especially those who are poor or marginalised. Our website also includes the Salesian Sisters (FMA), a similar religious order for women which was jointly founded by Don Bosco and St Mary Mazzarello.

The Salesians of Don Bosco and Salesian Sisters are Registered Charities and Charities Registered in Scotland.
